Good new alternative search engine,  Shablast.com.  The difference between Shablast and the big 3 (Google, Yahoo and Bing) is that it focuses as much on the content of the pages as it does on the links to those pages.

Well, Shablast just got a whole lot better.

Now, when you do a search at Shablast, the default method is to produce a “Summary” page of the results.

With the new summary format, the results are broken down into the most common topics, and the best matching results are shown along with a complete-sentence excerpt related to the topic.

It’s rather difficult to explain, but very easy to understand when you run a search.  So why not head over to Shablast now and run a few summary searches?  Then go to the forum (linked to on the home page) and let me know what you think?
